Most of us offer special prayer to Lord (Bhagwan) Shiva during Shraavan which is 6th month of Hindu
calendar. In general, we render Bilava Patra (shirphal leaves) or (quince leaves), flowers, water, bhang and
dhatura (hemp plant leaves and harebell plant leaves) to see blessings from Lord Shiva.
However, if we include few more items as per our star signs/zodiac and then do the offer our prayer on
every Monday during shraavan month, then, one will get most auspicious blessings from Lord Shiva.
We are explaining you below what to offer to seek most auspicious blessings from Lord Shiva as per your
star signs-:
(Please note that, these star signs are as per Hindu Panchang and not as per English Dates).
1. Aries ( Mesh Rashi) – If you are suffering from mental tension or trouble at workplace
then, one can do following:-
· Take bel patra/bilva patra/quince leaves. Wash them.
· Write Shri Ram with white sandal powder (shwet chandan) on leaves. Let it dry for some
time.
· Now perform Abhishek (anoint) by water to Shivling. Once this is done then,
· Take bilva patra as mentioned earlier and render them to Shivling while chanting “Om
Namah Shivay” should be continuous till completion of this activity.
2. Taurus (Vrishabha Rashi) – People born in this rashi/star sign should always use milk and curd
(dugdh evam dahi as offering). For Abhishek /anointing on Shivling, please follow given
sequence:-
· Dahi / Curd plain water/sada jal sahad/honey plain water/sada
jal sugar/sakkar/cheeni plain water/sada jal.
· Now take milk mixed water / dugdh mishrit jal and perform Abhishek and chant the mantra of
all 12 Jyotirlingas.
· After this, apply tilak with white chandan on Shivling and then, render perfume of
Harshingar.
· By doing this, one will feel happy round the year.
3. Gemini (Mithun Rashi) – Mercury (Budha) is the lord of this star sign who is strong enemy of
Moon / Chandra. Therefore, if a person is having adverse position of Moon / Chandra in their
chart, they experience financial difficulties. To overcome with financial problems, follow the
given steps –
· Use honey for Abhishek / Anoint during shraavan. If one always use honey for Abhishek,
they will never face financial difficulties in life.
· While, anointing or doing Abhishek, please chant or recite “Om Namah Shivaye Karalam
Mahakaal Kaalam Kripalam Om Namah”.
· If, Shraavan month is not around then, one can start performing this method on first Monday
of Shukla Paksha (Brightening Moon Period).
· After anointing or Abhishek, offer green grass (Hari Ghass) to Cow (Gau Mata) which will
help in faster positive results.
4. Cancer (Kark Rashi) – Lord of this star sign is Moon which is favorite ornament of Lord Shiva.
If people of this star sign feel any kind of difficulty, they should follow given steps –
· Use Dugdh (milk), Dahi (Curd), Gangajal (Ganges water) and sugar candy for offering bath to
Shivling.
· While doing so, please recite or chant “Om Chandramouleshwar Namah”. If one continues to
use items mentioned in point number ‘a’, will never face hurdles or problems in their life.
5. Leo (Singh Rashi) - Lord of this star sign is Sun. The people having Leo star sign, they are
capable of leading. Also, they are short tempered. These people can get annoyed on small matters
also therefore, they have more number of enemies. To overcome with problem, one should offer
bath to Shivling with pure Ghee (Shudh Dhrit). While offering bath to Shivling, please recite or
chant “Om Namah Shivaye Karalam Mahakaal Kaalam Kripalam Om Namah”. This will
help you to protect from enemies as well also prevent financial losses.
6. Virgo (Kanya Rashi) - Mercury (Budha) is the Lord of this star sign. If one experiences sudden loss,
financial losses or loss of reputation then, follow the given steps –
· During Shraavan month perform anointing or Abhishek with Dugdh (milk), Ghee, Shahad
(honey).
· Now render bel patra/bilva patra/quince leaves, Mandar pushp, Dhatura(Harebell) and Bel ka
fal (also known as Shree Phal or Head fruit).
· After this, offer bhang (hemp plant leaves).
· While, anointing or doing Abhishek, please chant or recite “Om Namah Shivaye Karalam
Mahakaal Kaalam Kripalam Om Naham”.
· If, shraavan month is not around then, one can start performing this method on first Monday
of Shukla Paksha (Brightening Moon Period)
7. Libra (Tula Rashi) – Venus is the Lord of this star sign. To avoid or prevent difficulties, people
of this star sign should offer bath to Shivling using Dhai (curd) and Ganne ka ras (Sugarcane
Juice). After this, distribute Mishri (Sugar Candies) to poor people. Lord Shiva will give his
blessings.
8. Scorpio (Vrishchk Rashi) – Lord Of this sign is Mars (Mangal). If people of this sign should offer
bath to Shivling by using teerthsthaan ka jal (water from holy place) like Ganga jal and milk mixed with
honey and sugar (shahad aur cheeni mila hua dugdh). After bath they should do Tilak by red chandan. This
will defeat their enemies. They will get blessings from Lord Shiva
9. Sagittarius (Dhanu Rashi) – Jupiter (Brahaspati) is the lord of this sign. They should offer bath
to Shivling using Saffron (Kesar), Jaggery (Gur or Gud) and Turmeric (Haldi) in raw milk / unboiled
milk (Kachcha dugdh). After bathing Shivling apply Tilak on it using Saffron (Kesar) and
Turmeric (Haldi) and offer Yellow flowers (peelay rang ke phool). Keep chanting or reciting “Om
Namah Shivaye Guru Devaye Namah Om”. By doing this method one will not experience
hurdles or troubles. Especially students will be benefited by performing this Puja.
10. Capricorn (Makar Rashi) – Saturn (Shani) is also the lord of this sign. If, one faces hurdle in
work, mental tension or enemies then, one should offer anointing (Abhishek) using Ghee, Shahad
(Honey), Dahi (Curd) and Badam ka tel (Almond Oil). After this, offer bath by Nariyal ka paani
(Coconut water) and blue coloured flowers to Shivling. While offering bath, keep reciting / chanting
“Om Namah Shivaye”. One can perform this method always and not only in Shraavan Month.
11. Aquarius (Kumbh Rashi) – Saturn (Shani) is also the lord of this sign. If, one faces family
issues, monetary loss, problems related to health and hurdle in work, then follow the given steps-
· Offer anointing (Abhishek) by Ghee, Shahad (Honey), Cheeni (Sugar) and Badam ka Tel
(Almond Oil).
· Then, apply Tilak using Sarson ka Tel (Mustard Oil) and Roli or Kumkum and offer blue
coloured flowers.
· At the time of offering bath, keep reciting or chanting “Om Namah Shivaye” or mantras of
Twelve Jyotirlingas or Mahamritunjaye Mantra.
· After this offer bath using Nariyal ka Paani (Coconut water). After bath offer Harshingar
perfume.
12. Pieces (Meen Rashi) – Jupiter (Brihaspati) is the lord of this sign. By following given steps, one
will always have trouble free life, students will do better in studies and ladies will have intact blessings
from Lord Shiva.
· Offer bath to Shivling using raw milk (un-boiled) mixed with Saffron and water from holy
place like Gangajal.
· While performing bath to Shivling, keep reciting “Om Namah Shivye Guru Devaye Namah
Om”.
· After bath, apply tilak by Saffron (Kesar) and Turmeric (Haldi).
· Offer yellow coloured flowers along with Nagkesar (Ceylon Ironwood) and Saffron
threads/fiber (Kesar ke reshe).
